No Meat!

So I've decided to embark on a month long journey with no meat. You read right, NO MEAT!

But please, let's not get ahead of ourselves, I'm no vegan or vegetarian, I will still go nuts on meat flavored things and eggs, you know, to dull the pain of no meat for this month. I started this month with mug of hot chocolate one ojo de buey or a mexican sweet bread, it was my first time eating something that wasn't a tradition concha or pan de leche, then later in the day, I made some Patatas Bravas. I wasn't too confident on it because I used tomato sauce from a can, rather than the actual tomatoes, but it was fine.

Oh I didn't tell you? I'm no gourmet, but I absolutely love trying different foods, I love how I went from Mexico to Spain in six hours. Anyway, it wouldn't be me if I didn't have a single complaint, but I went into my kitchen to see what else there was for me to whip up in the kitchen and as it turns out... I'm not the most creative when it comes to food without meat, I'll probably barely manage to make something that I can say was actually delicious.

Point remains, The month of February will be me hoping that I don't get used to no meat in my life.

People will think this is a good thing, but in the back of my mind I'm already thinking bout how fun my funeral will be.

"We're here to send off this woman into the lord's hands, where maybe there she will have a large plate of fried chicken and tonkatsu with lightly seasoned cabbage over a nice warm bowl of steamed rice and all the gyoza in her heavenly afterlife..."

Keep your head up Yoli, you won't die!
